SCHOLARSHIPS

As you can see from the list below, there are several scholarship opportunities that are available to graduating MHSRA members to assist with their college educations.  Scholarships are awarded to Senior boys and girls who are active members.

The MHSRA Scholarship Committee encourages each graduating Senior member to participate and attempt to earn these scholarships.

The MHSRA Scholarship application is a Word document consisting of a total of six pages (one page cover letter, one page of explanation, and four pages of scholarship application).   This application is also referred to for Montana Pro Rodeo Hall and Wall of Fame Scholarships.  They will be offering $36,000 worth of scholarships to qualified graduating seniors this year.  Scholarship applications must be mailed to the MHSRA State Office.  They must be postmarked on or before June 2, 2008.  No late applications accepted.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

The Gilean Ann Newman Memorial Scholarship application was mailed to all Senior girls in March.  This application needs to be submitted by May 1, 2008, to the Newman family, as they have a selection committee that will be choosing the recipient.  The Gilean Newman Memorial Scholarship application is a Word document consisting of a total of nine pages.

Montana Silversmiths is offering the "Pursuit of Excellence" scholarship for graduated high school seniors and returning college students in the fall of 2008.  The application must be submitted to Montana Silversmiths by August 1, 2008.  More information on the scholarship, rules, and regulations can be found at http://www.montanasilversmiths.com/news.aspx?newsid=5
